Your flat top grill gets dirty most of the time but not as dirty as conventional grills. If you don’t have grills yet, please visit http://www.buycatering.com, and have a look at their catering equipment and supplies.
A flat-top grill is ideal for making burgers, hotdogs, and that perfect sunny side up egg. If your food tastes weird after grilling in your catering equipment, its time to clean it up.
- Turn off the grill. When it is turned off, put water or club soda in the grill while it is still hot. Make sure it covers the entire grill. Water or club soda will help remove grease in your catering equipment.
- Use a stiff metal spatula to scrape the cooked-on food in your flat top grill. Wipe off the debris with a rag.
- Pour a couple of tablespoons of vegetable on the surface of the grill. Use a paper towel to rub the oil all over the grill.
